Turner Middle School's mission is to provide a quality education for all students in a safe, supportive environment. In doing so, faculty and staff aim to develop respectful, accountable, responsible students who give earnest effort every day. Notably, Turner is the first AVID Middle School in the Douglas County School System. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) fosters a safe and open culture, high expectations for teachers and students, and collaboration in all classrooms. Turner's desire is to increase rigor and interaction among its students.
