From St. Thomas More Parish School

Since St. Thomas More Parish School began educating students in 1965, the school has been faithful to its mission of providing educational excellence in a Catholic atmosphere. STM offers grades preschool (PreK3 & PreK4) through eighth grade. With annual enrollment averaging 425 for the past 5 years, STM is one of the largest Catholic elementary schools in the Houston area. St. Thomas More was honored in 1994 and 2014 by the U.S. Department of Education as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. In 2014 only 50 private schools in the nation received this award.

In addition to being cited as a National Exemplary School, the continuing commitment of the school community (administration, faculty, staff, and parents) to academics makes STM one of the most sought after schools in the area. As in previous years, over 80% of the students enrolled in kindergarten are expected to graduate from the school, reflecting the stability of the population.
