From St. Peter's School
Early learning matters. At St. Peter's School, children gain a lifelong love of learning, and begin leading with confidence in our close-knit, non-sectarian community. When students learn in a warm, structured environment, they build the skills that prepare them for the challenges and opportunities ahead. That’s why we focus from age three on what students need to succeed at every stage of education, culminating in what our 8th grade graduates need to flourish in high school and beyond.
Program highlights include an intentional approach to project-based learning; a City Curriculum that taps into Philadelphia’s rich historic, cultural, and scientific resources; a transformational public speaking program; and commitments to environmental stewardship, global citizenship, and the creative arts.

Social and Emotional Learning provides our students skills to manage emotions, resolve conflict and improve self-awareness, guided by the CharacterStrong program. Last year, our School embraced a new Racial Literacy Curriculum by Pollyanna, which aims to broaden our students' knowledge around inclusion and compassion by providing perspectives of those similar and different to their own.
