From St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School

What day is it? It's a great day to be a Saint! It is always a great day at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School (SMCS) especially when our Saints are immersed in Project-Based Learning, attending Mass, helping others through community service, or having fun on the playground.

SMCS is a vibrant, faith-filled community of students, parents, and partners in education. We are focused on our call to be Christian disciples while helping our Saints reach their full potential in a rigorous spiritual and academic environment.

We do more than just teach the faith; we live it. We also welcome families of all faiths. Academically, our faculty facilitates a rigorous program that challenges our students to think critically, problem solve, and excel in their subject areas. SMCS is accredited by Cognia.

We pray that you have a peaceful process in determining the best school for your family. We, of course, believe that SMCS should be at the top of your list. We look forward to meeting you!

    Project-Based Learning

    academic spotlight

Project-Based Learning (PBL) engages students through real-world and meaningful projects. Our sixth grade students studied weather patterns across our country by incorporating science, math, reading, grammar, social studies, and religion. While having fun working together, PBL helped our students gain a more comprehensive understanding of weather and weather patterns.
