Senior: Minnesota connections academy allowed me to work at my own pace in all of my classes. I still was easily able to check in with my teachers and counselors if I needed any help, and they would respond quickly. There are several clubs and activities that help you to still be involved with other students, even with the online format of the school. There were a lot of unique courses that were available that weren't available in my local public school. That gave me the opportunity to try new subjects that I otherwise would not have been able to take. There were also a lot of art classes that I loved; photography, drawing, digital art. These were fun classes that allowed me to be creative and still improve and be challenged in a way that is different from most history or math classes. I also really enjoyed the science courses that I took, especially chemistry.
