    From Peninsula Heritage School

Located on a beautiful campus in Rolling Hills Estates, we provide individualized education to students in kindergarten through 8th grade in a warm and caring environment. Our strong academic program coupled with our commitment to developing each child’s character enables students to thrive in the most challenging high schools and in their lives thereafter.

Our small class sizes of around 12-15 students allow teachers to focus on individual learning needs and assess each child’s academic, social, and emotional profile to create a personalized learning plan for every student.

Our strong academic program implements project-based learning in a way that enriches student learning and interest and intrinsically motivates them. This approach, along with our rigorous curriculum, creates authentic learning experiences that help to shape our students for the rest of their lives.

    A Character Driven Education

    academic spotlight

One of the reasons for the establishment of our school in 1961 was the desire for children to be educated in an environment where character education was integral to the curriculum. We incorporate character qualities into classroom discussions beginning in kindergarten and by the time our students graduate, they possess a strong sense of morality, emotional intelligence, and character.
