    Humanities II (HUM II) is dedicated to preparing scholars for college and careers through a rigorous, thoughtful, and enriching educational experience. We care about meeting every student’s needs and providing outlets for students’ passions. Beginning in the 9th grade, you’ll have the opportunity to become active in our vibrant school community. Whether you join a sports team or participate in an after-school club, you’ll find a place just for you at Humanities II.

    HUM II staff members work collaboratively with you and your family to form a triangle of success. We each play an important role in your success as a Humanities II scholar. We host monthly events for families and provide numerous opportunities for parental involvement throughout the year.

    At HUM II, we make it our collective responsibility to prepare you for the real world.

    academic spotlight

    We support ALL students with math and reading intervention and have specialized co-taught courses for English Language Learners and students with disabilities. We also encourage all students to be literate in two languages in order to earn a Biliteracy Seal and Advanced Regents diploma. We’ll work to ensure that you graduate from Humanities II with a plan in place for college and career.
