Mr. Carmel Elementary School seeks to teach every student to be a leader. By emphasizing listening, encouragement, achievement, dedication, empathy, and respect, Mt. Carmel teachers utilize a curriculum that emphasizes both academic and character education. As teachers plan for instruction, they are expected to take into account the individual needs of students and provide for them through strategies for differentiation.

Mt. Carmel is proud to be the home of a STEAM Innovation Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts,and Math). This newly-renovated room provides an environment that is innovative to teaching and student learning. Here students engage in creative and critical thinking lessons, hands-on robotics, computer programming, science-driven activities, engineering challenges, innovation projects, and much more. Other programs and activities include Word Wizard, Math Club, Chorus, Road Runners, Junior Beta, Student Council, Ambassadors, WRAM Crew, and Safety Patrol.
