    From Merryhill Elementary School

Merryhill Elementary and Middle School has served the families of Roseville since 1984. Our teachers engage and challenge each student in a warm and nurturing learning community. We combine a rigorous, standards-based curriculum with experiences that develop 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration, and communication. And we provide a technology-rich environment, including an iPad for each student in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Upon graduation, we expect that each of our students will be W.I.S.E:

    1. Well-versed in technology – As well-versed in science and technology as they are in reading, writing, and mathematics.

    2. Insightful thinkers – Adapt to situations, set goals, develop creativity, and take innovative risks.

    3. Successfully productive – Understand how to prioritize, plan, and manage resources in the real world.

    4. Effective communicators – Show leadership, work in teams, and collaborate with a variety of groups.

Making an impact in the classroom and community

    academic spotlight

Rich and challenging content is the foundation of the Merryhill curriculum. But students need more than academic knowledge to achieve success. Through service learning, students study social entrepreneurship and learn how to make a difference in the community. Projects include gathering toys for Chips for Kids, collecting canned goods for Kids Can, and donating supplies for the Pajama Program.
