Led by award-winning educator, innovator and Harvard PhD, Dr. Gavin Samms, Genesis Innovation Academy is a free-to-attend state charter school serving boys and girls in grades K-10.

At Genesis, we know that focusing on test scores alone is not the endgame. Our E5 Core, which includes Economics, Engineering, Ethics, Expression, Entrepreneurship, goes beyond test scores to inspire innovation, promote purpose, and cultivate character.

In place of a heightened focus on state test preparation, teachers elevate expectations and include culturally relevant application to ensure scholars become critical thinkers and exceptional leaders. We also use a single gender approach to respect and nurture the confidence and unique learning needs of our scholars.
