From Fay School
Fay was founded in 1866 and is the oldest junior boarding school in the US. Our 66-acre campus in Southborough, MA, is just 25 miles from Boston. Our community includes 475 students in kindergarten through grade nine. Of those, 150 students are boarders who come from the US and 20+ countries.
Fay is recognized around the world for its superior educational program, and our graduates are accepted to top secondary school. A highlight of our program is our creativity and design curriculum, where students engage in real-world projects in partnership with companies like Converse, Mazda, Barnes and Noble, and Bose.
Creativity and Design Program
Fay’s Creativity and Design curriculum challenges students to employ a powerful approach known as design thinking as they delve into hands-on projects that foster creativity and deepen understanding across subject areas. Students learn to collaborate with others, think creatively as they generate solutions to problems, and face challenges with ingenuity and resilience.
