Factory Shoals Middle School's mission is to provide all students with the tools to be successful in a nurturing and challenging environment. The faculty at Factory Shoals Middle School has one main goal: to teach and guide their students so that they may learn, grow, and become productive members of society. Teachers aim to create Learning Focused School lessons that allow for student choice, collaboration, and hands-on activities that will engage students and encourage them to utilize their higher order thinking skills. In addition, teachers encourage students to think out of the box in all subject areas. Outside of the classroom, students participate in a wide variety of activities that nurture their athletic and social needs. Factory Shoals boasts an active chapter of the Junior Beta Club as well as the 21st CCLC After-School Program. Additionally, the school has won many county championships in both football and basketball. Three words sum up Factory Shoals: Improvement for All!
