David H. Ponitz is a thriving Career Technology Center that provides students with a clear path toward college and career.

With more than a dozen career pathways to choose from, students are sure to find an area that sparks their interest. High-quality academics and the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credits prepare students for both college and career.

Ponitz has a very active Student Council and a variety of Career and Technical Student Organizations that win awards each year for their outstanding work.

Ponitz fosters a welcoming environment that allows students and staff to build positive relationships with one another. Once students select a pathway as a Sophomore, they spend a majority of their time with the same group of students and teachers. This allows students to really get to know one another and create lasting friendships.
