    From Woodland Hills School District

The core purpose of the Woodland Hills School District is to establish one community of learning that creates new opportunities while sustaining established, successful programming for students, through relationships, relevance, and rigor one student at a time.

All of our students are empowered to embrace learning, to excel, and to own their future with the confidence to take risks to find their passion.

Woodland Hills is a proponent of active learning, which means our curriculum goes well beyond the texts and classroom materials. We are the only district in Pennsylvania to have a full K-12 robotics program thanks to our partnership with Vex Robotics. In a rapidly changing world, we believe all of our scholars must learn to be problem solvers. Working with the Vex Robotics curriculum enhances that skillset and equips them with tools they’ll need regardless of the career path they pursue.
