    From Wichita Public Schools USD259

Wichita Public Schools has a vision to graduate students who are ready for the future, no matter what that future holds.

Beginning with purposeful play in pre-k and kindergarten, our students explore learning in core subjects as well as exciting electives and special classes. Elementary and middle schools expand exposure to STEAM concepts, and clubs and organized sports become available in middle school. At our high schools, students are required to participate in Career and Technical Education courses, selecting from 27 pathways that connect student interests with fields in our region so they can discover the best way for them to be future ready - for college, career and life. #WPSFutureReady

We are #WPSProud that our community values the diversity our students and staff bring to our hallways. We educate students from more than 90 countries of birth who speak more than 100 different languages in their homes. We also offer the only dual-language school in South Central Kansas.
