    Georgetown ISD serves more than 13,200 students at 10 elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, and two alternative campuses in Georgetown, TX, which is the county seat, located 20 miles north of Austin.

    VISION: Home of the most inspired students, served by the most empowered leaders.

    MISSION: Inspiring and empowering every learner to lead, grow, and serve.

    GISD boasts a 97% graduation rate and offers dual enrollment and dual credit programming at the high school level. Last year, students earned more than 3,200 college credits last year, a value of about $1.2 million. We offer 13 athletic programs, 16 Fine Arts programs, and Dual Language programs for students in grades K-5.

    One of the fastest-growing cities in America, Georgetown is known for its family-friendly community, beautiful town square, and it is the 3rd overall safest city in the U.S. according to safehome.org. Georgetown is a great place to live, work, and go to school.
