The environment of Chief Leschi was terrible. The system was rigged for specific students depending on the tribe they were. There were constant fights and drug deals in class or even on campus. It was a small community with a large amount of bullying, as well as low expectations for the students. The academia was low quality and students were disrespectful to the staff and administration. I wish I had gone to a different school for my 4-12th grades.
Attending highschool at Chief Leschi, I always thought the school could have had a more productive and demanding curriculum aspired for there students. Chief Leschi, didn't provide much tutoring, overall a quarter of there students where failing 4-7 classes. I personally would never allow my children to attend. The children lack respect for their fellow students, teachers and even parents.
Intil recently this school had amazing teachers, some remain but they have become very very lax in regulation, and education
