My experience at Cibola High School wasn't too exciting. To me, I just felt like an average student doing my best to complete all of my assignments and forming a good relationship with my teachers. I would always show up to my classes on time to not get absent and tardy. Freshmen year wasn't exactly the best experience due to the pandemic and it was a bit complicated to use Canvas and communicate with teachers online due to them being online. Sophomore year was when I was extremely focused and I would check Canvas to see the work on the homepage and did the assignment before my teachers even announced the assignment to the class and I would never procrastinate. In junior year I would get all my work done but not as instantly as I did during Sophmore year. Junior year was more difficult than sophomore year which caused me to have to take a mental break due to being overwhelmed with my schoolwork. Currently, as a Senior it's going pretty well but Math has just been difficult haha.
The best part of Cibola was making connections with the teachers and students whom you spend every day with and get to enjoy your time in the classroom. The worst part would be the way they handle the bathroom situations. I would like to see a change in friendships, more often than not I tend to see situational friendships and what I would rather see is more inclusive friendship and diverse friendships because in my experience, people that I never thought I would have an interaction with tend to be people I am more fond of than people that share more of the same interests as me.
Cibola High School is an excellent high school as they offer many opportunities and activities both extra curricular, in sports, social clubs and events, Cibola their goal is to deliver students beyond the system and the daily route if they do not want us to attend other activities that they are passionate about, Cibola creates an important integrity with students, having the objective of creating excellent students in the future with values, respect, responsibility, desire to excel and commitment to learn and overcome every obstacle.
