From Christ the King Catholic School
Christ the King Catholic School educates students from Pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. Our curriculum focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Students experience learning through hands on activities. They build robots, incubate eggs, grow salad for our lunchroom, measure energy output from solar panels and test water samples from neighboring wetlands. These examples are why Christ the King was the FIRST catholic school in the state of Florida to be certified in STREAM.
Just this year, the federal government awarded Christ the King for their successful efforts in environmentalism, sustainability, and personal health. All of these STEM activities are performed while maintaining academic rigor (National Blue Ribbon School) and teaching Christian values.
Governor DeSantis signs legislation at CTK school, while celebrating a national award!
Christ the King Catholic School is the only school in the state of Florida to be awarded the National Green Ribbon award in 2021. For this reason, Christ the King was chosen by Governor DeSantis as the site to sign a major piece of legislation. The Green Ribbon acknowledges the school’s efforts in teaching environmentalism, sustainability and promoting better health in our school community.
