From Bishop Fenwick High School
Bishop Fenwick High School, the first coeducational Catholic high school on the North Shore, was founded in 1959 and is located on nearly 60 acres of land on the Peabody-Salem-Danvers line.
Fenwick students come from nearly 50 cities and towns, and 4 other countries. The student-to-teacher ratio is 10:1 and the male-female ratio is 44% to 56%. In addition to the more than 27 athletic programs, and 30 clubs, Fenwick students as a whole, average over 10,000 hours of community service each year.
Fenwick offers AP courses in every subject except Theology, and collaborates with Endicott College for dual enrollment college credit courses. Fenwick graduates are currently studying at colleges and universities including Notre Dame, Brown, BC, RIT, Georgetown, SCAD, Bowdoin, and Villanova. The Class of 2020 was offered nearly $20,000,000 in merit-based scholarships from colleges and universities.
Since 1959, Scholarship, character, faith, and service remain the core tenets of Fenwick.
