For over 60 years, Ascension Catholic School has been serving students in grades PK3 & VPK4 through grade 8 and is dedicated to the teaching mission of the church by providing the child with a family-centered, value oriented educational environment. We are committed to academic excellence and acceptance of 21st century educational philosophies and technologies. The entire faculty and staff are committed to a Christ-centered atmosphere of learning, guidance, concern, experience and discovery. Regarding students as individuals, we are dedicated to a curriculum that provides a structured academic foundation with stimulating critical thinking, fostering creativity and collaboration and encouraging self-initiated learning as a life-long process. Ascension’s curriculum includes religion, mathematics, language arts, science, social studies, Spanish, Soarin' enrichment program, as well as computers, music, physical education, extracurricular activities, and vibrant athletics program.
