St. Ambrose University Reviews
Rating 4.73 out of 5 33 reviews
St. Ambrose University's graduate program for the Master's of Science in IT Management is pretty nice. All of the classes I have taken thus far have been engaging and learning important content for current critical topics in Information Technology and in the business world. The best way to describe the program is a selection of Computer Science/IT classes with some classes taken from the Business Admin program as well. My only frustrations right now is that the department is in a professor shortage currently. As a result, some classes are only offered every other year or so. This makes me unsure if classes that are required to graduate will be available when I need them to. I think the classes and class content are engaging, are worth learning about, and relevant to business practices in IT work.
I started doing graduate classes as an undergrad, there is an option for your combined undergrad and graduate program taking 5 years, and I am on pace to graduate in 4.5 years. I have just finished with my Bachelor's in May 2023 and starting my Master's right away. I have started a full time job, as well as taking an online summer class for my Master's this summer. I will be starting my first real graduate term this fall also doing full time classes.
Although I am still a current student, I have enjoyed my academic experience thus far. The professors and and supporting staff is what makes St. Ambrose a great institution to study. They care about helping their students succeed, and will provide the resources to be able to do so, the student just needs to use those resources and they will do just fine.
