About
From Pacific Northwest College of Art
Part of Willamette University and located in downtown Portland, a city renowned for creativity, PNCA's campus is the epicenter of innovation. Our main building, situated amidst the picturesque North Park Blocks, is a modern redesign of a century-old former post office. We're surrounded by the city's leading art galleries and institutions.
PNCA has robust campus resources. Our Printmaking Studio ranks as one of the country's most extensive, and our Creative Technology Lab lab teems with advanced technology. For media artists, we offer an array of resources including a Sound Lab, Animated Arts Lab, AMP Lab, and Media Resource Center. Our photo lab supports both traditional and digital fine art photography and processing.
Our 3D workshops in the Glass Building, an erstwhile glass fabrication warehouse, include facilities for woodwork, metalwork, soft sculpture, sewing, and ceramics.
Student Galleries provide ample opportunities to exhibit work publicly throughout the year.
