Warner Pacific University Reviews
Rating 3.48 out of 5 239 reviews
I was a student at Warner Pacific from the 2023 spring semester through the fall of 2023. During this time, I transitioned from a sophomore in the spring to a junior in the fall. Throughout the spring, my course load was dedicated to nursing program prerequisites. These in-person courses were very valuable, and my professors provided great academic support. I was also a part of the women's volleyball team at the college. When the fall semester began, I joined the nursing program. Although this program boasts a smaller class size, I feel that many of the professors were not equipped to assist the students to the best of their abilities. I felt that the academic support was not satisfactory, and that many voices of the students were not heard. I feel that the main campus was much more equipped to really provide for their students than the nursing program was. Since attending Warner Pacific, I have transferred to the Linfield nursing program that I will be starting in the spring of 2024.
I like that the school is small. This allows smaller class size and more interaction with the instructors (5:1 student to instruction ratio). I am very curious about the courses I need to take to complete my psychology degree (also wondering if I should add a minor). Also, will be playing basketball there, and I like that the gym is accessible for me any time of day so can improve. I can't really think f anything that I would like to see change. I'm entering my first year there (I'm a transfer student) and am really looking forward to starting in the fall.
My experience at Warner Pacific has been great thus far because I have been able to meet new people and build new relationships. With the University being so small, I have been able to make deeper connections with faculty and peers.
