My overall experience with Walden University has been good. I am in the RN to BSN program. I was required to complete two pre-requisite classes, and while I was initially a little annoyed by that, I will fully admit that it was beneficial and needed for some of the classes I took down the road. My experiences with professors have been very positive, and while the curriculum is for independent learning... I always received immediate assistance from professors whenever I reached out. My only negative experience has been the process of getting a preceptor, but fortunately, the office of field experience was very helpful, and I was finally able to arrange preceptors. I would recommend Walden University to others for sure!

I appreciate the good community of people surrounding me at Walden . It makes it easier to succeed when you know that you’re not alone in your journey!

I cannot express how much I would recommend you to NOT go to this University. This school has little to no concern regarding transparency, often provides misleading information, and withholds valuable information. The practicum courses use a meditreck system. I reached out on numerous occasions via phone and email to address issues that I was concerned about. Representatives were not knowledgeable about the system and were not willing to look at the situation and evaluate it. One representative told me to request an application to be reopened and where I could add the information that was needed. It would take 48 hours for their response. I thanked her completed her survey with a rave review. Then two days later it had not been reopened, so I called again. This representative said it was never possible to reopen an application. That a new application would have to be done but it was passed the closing date . So now this was not possible. Responses are robotic.
