I love that USC-Salk provides opportunities for students in our local communities. There are so many wonderful professors and support staff here. That said, there are some professors who do not adequately communicate their expectations and grading practices which can not only be frustrating but extremely disappointing and discouraging. The school could use to better communicate happenings around campus to students as many times, we have no idea what is going on.
My experience at Salkehatchie is excellent. It has been a learning process for me at the school as a freshman and I really love it here. The courses that is available here is very good. The professors here is very excellent because they go above and beyond for the student here at Salkehatchie. My coach, athletic director and my advisor they are excellent because they make sure that we do everything we are suppose to and we are on the right path with our academic study.

When I first began attending at The University of South Carolina Salkehatchie, I felt as if I’d stepped into a new world of learning. Maybe that was due to me just starting out as a freshman and being excited. My first semester was an eye opening experience. My professors were all cool and very deep thinkers, so I gained a great deal of knowledge while in their classes. The school counselor/advisor is very kind and cordial, so if there’s anything you may need help with then feel free to asking her assistance. I have never lived on campus there, but so far, it’s been decent. You’ll make some great friends here, I’m sure of it; the environment here will make you feel right at home.
