What is a mental and social health services major?

Students participating in a mental and social health services program are prepared to help prevent substance abuse, psychiatric illnesses, as well as administering social work services, community health services, psychoanalysis, and counseling. A wide range of specific courses exist including psychology training, basic science courses, social issues and ethics, as well as counseling training.

Each year, around 460 students obtain a bachelor’s degree and around 890 students obtain an associate degree in mental and social health services.
