Your two-year tenure at SUNY Sullivan was riddled with challenges—online course chaos, exacerbated by poor communication during the pandemic, and struggles with Brightspace. Transitioning to in-person classes didn’t fare better due to unhelpful departments neglecting student accommodations, potentially breaching New York State’s ADA Article 504.
Professors’ outright lie of “caring about the students” overshadowed student welfare, a disheartening trend. This experience cautions against choosing SUNY Sullivan. Instead, SUNY Ulster might offer a more supportive and accommodating educational environment.

My time at SUNY Sullivan County Community College has been incredibly enriching and transformative. I felt welcomed and supported in my academic journey when I stepped onto the picturesque campus. The college's commitment to providing a well-rounded education is evident in its diverse programs. I've mostly been online, but when I went to tour the campus, the experience was great. I'm currently studying psychology, and so far, it has been great.
SUNY Sullivan is an amazing college to start off your career with. The campus just the perfect size we’re you’ll know everyone in college. The professors are amazing and understanding. Free tutoring. There’s a lot of diversity. The school listens to your voice with the SGA, they are the student government and if you have a problem within the school, they will try to fix it. There’s a food pantry, so if you ever feel as if you can’t provide food for yourself talk to one of SGA members and they will assist you as much as they can. Sullivan has made me come out of my bubble and make new friends, I’m thankful for that!
