From Pacific Northwest College of Art
Located in one of the nation’s most creative cities, the Pacific Northwest College of Art has been inspiring creatives for over 100 years. Through PNCA’s connection to the surrounding arts community, our students benefit from mentorships, access to resources, and opportunities to show their work and connect with fellow creators.
We encourage students to approach art and design from creative, historical, and critical perspectives, enabling them to contextualize their work in a global tradition and movement and understand their responsibility as creators.
PNCA’s campus is located in a repurposed post office, inviting aspiring creatives to reimagine what is possible. The campus houses studios, labs, and galleries that are open to all majors and feature cutting edge technology and traditional, analog equipment. Access to a variety of materials and processes facilitates creative exploration so emerging artists and designers can gain technical skills and experiment as they find their voice.
