The college is exceptional! All the faculty, staff and professors are very welcoming, I’ve created personal relationships with many of them. The community feeling is amazing! Furthermore, it offers all you need to move on in life. Conclusively, the team sports and events on campus made my whole experience worth it.
NJC (specifically the wind tech program) is the best in the entire nation. Not only do you get two fantastic professors who have years and years or experience in the Wind Field but a great workshop/lab that is equipped with every tool imaginable to help with any project the professors throw your way. Plus you don't solely learn about wind but PLC programming, Arduino Programming, Electrical basics, climbing and suspended rescues, and so much more. Sometimes I wish the program was a four year instead of a two year so I could stay here longer and learn more!
The staff is incredibly friendly and very accommodating! As a Rodeo athlete, I feel as though my schedule is tailored specifically to me and I feel incredible support from every staff member I've met!
