VETERANS be warned-Over the last year-start of 2022 thru present-GGU has changed. Each semester they would implement different rules, regulations, policy to make it harder for veterans that do not live close to the campus to meet their in- person requirements. Staff, counselors, advisors, and students now are constantly guessing at how to meet which requirements. The answer you will get from GGU VA certification office was this is a "brick and mortar school".....so for those Veterans who do not live close BEWARE of the school. The school is inflexible in it's processes, procedures and there is NO communication between divisions. If you ask who is responsible for the policy changes-you get crickets. NOBODY wants to take responsibility for the changes. The school will use the VA as a scapegoat and state the VA policies have changed, but they are the same policies as they have been even before the pandemic. GGU is the ones that are chancing how they DEEM a student to be in person.
The GGU School of Law is a perfect place for International law students. It's not big in the number of staff and students, but it is the best thing about this university. Professors are always available for individual consultation, the administraton is very carying and is always ready to help. It's more like a family. The study process is very comfortable, but at the same time deep and demanding. Most of the professors are former international students and it helps a lot in terms of adapting to new system and socialization. They are always happy to share their experience and to direct you in your career path if you wish.
I believe it was the best option I could have chosen when applying for the LLM in International Legal studies.

I would say that if you do not know how to learn online, now is the time to learn how to. Although it took me a some time to get used to taking a full semester online, the instructors in all my classes were very understanding and would reply to any questions I had very quickly. Now into my second semester and everything has started out great!
