From Dickinson College
Dickinson is a nationally recognized liberal-arts college chartered in 1783 in Carlisle, Pa. Inside Dickinson's First Dialogues Across Differences Class
The Dialogues Across Differences class helps students learn theories, skills and techniques that promote productive dialogue. Participants gain tools to create an atmosphere of trust to share viewpoints and listen thoughtfully to others. After the class, students are eligible for paid on-campus employment as student facilitators, helping to lead discussions on campus and teach associated skills.
