From Colby Community College
Colby Community College is located in northwest Kansas and offers a wide variety of face-to-face, technical, and online programs to obtain a variety of one and two-year degree and transfer programs.
CCC is consistently at or near the top among all Kansas community colleges in retention and graduation rates. In addition to the main campus, Colby operates a 60-acre farm for students to use as a hands-on laboratory and training facility. Varsity athletics include basketball, wrestling, volleyball, track, cross country, softball, and baseball, as well as co-ed equestrian and livestock judging teams.
Colby continuously strives to improve the student experience. Since 2017, the college has added a new indoor athletic training facility, indoor tennis and pickleball courts, renovations of five student housing sections, and a one-on-one academic advising center. Plans are underway to build a 12,400-square-foot agriculture building scheduled to open for the fall 2023 semester.
