    Brookdale ranks in the top 3% of community colleges in the nation and was named the best community college in New Jersey. Two years in a row, Brookdale has been recognized among the top-ranked institutions offering the best Associate in Psychology Degree Program, and Brookdale is ranked #9 of the top 25 colleges offering the best culinary arts programs in 2020. In addition, Brookdale is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security through the 2024 academic year.

    Brookdale offers AA, AFA, AS, and AAS degrees in 75 academic programs including options, 7 Academic Credit Certificates, and 11 Academic Credit Certificates of Achievement. In addition, Brookdale also offers fully online degree programs in Business Administration, English, History, Liberal Education, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Social Sciences, and Cybersecurity Certificate of Achievement.
